Creating a video from a collection of photographs

Firstly get all the photographs you want to show in one folder – this is not essential but it will make life easier


Once you have your photos together you will need to start the Microsoft Video Editor


Click on Start and type Video and it should come up

Click on the app and it will then start


Select New Video Project

Give it a name and click OK

Once shown – click on the Add button and select From this PC

Find the pictures you want to use in your video, select them and click open (you can select all the picture in a folder by pressing Ctrl+A – this is why we put all pictures into one folder)

The pictures will appear in the Project library box – simply drag them down to the timeline (again you can drag an individual picture or multiple pictures)

By default they will stay on screen for 3 seconds but you can change that with the duration option

Once you are happy click on Finish Video and click Export

You’ll be asked where you want to save your video so just put it wherever you need it ready to use later
