Doing this can resolve printing issues (especially when printing from PDF files, it is known that the Edge/Chrome PDF viewer can be a bit temperamental. Follow this guide to change the default app for any file type.
- Right-click on the file and hover your mouse over "Open with"
- In the open with menu select "choose another app"
- Select Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and then tick the box at the bottom: "Always use this app to open .pdf files"
- After selecting ok this should be set as the default app for you, the icon next to the file should change to the icon of the application you are opening it automatically with.
