Allowing Video / Audio for Teams on Apple Mac (OSX)

Microsoft Teams App

1. Click on the Apple menu, and go to System Preferences.

2. Then click on Security & Privacy, and select Privacy.

3. Click on Camera and tick the checkbox next to Teams to allow access to your Camera.

4. Click on Microphone and tick the checkbox next to Teams to allow access to your Mic.

5. Close/Reopen the Teams app for settings to take effect.

Safari Web Browser

1. Open Safari Preferences.

2. Navigate to Websites.

3. Go to Camera and Microphone tabs.

4. Change access to Allow.

5. Restart Safari. 

Chrome Web Browser

1. Click on the Apple menu, and go to System Preferences.

2. Then click on Security & Privacy, and select Privacy.

3. Click on Camera and tick the checkbox next to Google Chrome to allow access to your Camera.

4. Click on Microphone and tick the checkbox next to Google Chrome to allow access to your Mic.

5. Close / Reopen the Chrome browser and test Teams Audio/Video is now working.

6. If you still have issues, click on the lock icon in the address bar and ensure Camera and Microphone access is set to Allow
