How to manually update office applications

Modified on Mon, 12 Apr, 2021 at 3:56 PM

Firstly go to the application you think needs updating such as; PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Publisher, Access, OneNote or Outlook.

Once you are within the application, you want to go to File (located at the top left hand corner).

Once clicking on File you will be faced with this screen. You simply want to go down to Office Account.

Once clicking on Office account, you will see Office Updates on the right hand side of the screen. You want to click on Update Options, this is a drop down box and you want to press Update now.

By pressing Update now, this will check for any updates for the application, if the application is already up to date it will say it is. But if it doesn't it will check for the latest updates and once complete this message should pop up.
