To clear cache and cookies when using Microsoft Edge, follow the steps detailed below:

  1. Click on the edge menu menu button situated in the upper right corner.
  2. Click on History
  3. Click on the Bin icon in the top right:
  4. (Completing the next part will log you out of all websites, but not remove any saved passwords, please make sure all of your work is saved before completing this) You will be taken to a new screen, tick the "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files" options and untick everything else. Change the drop down to all time. Then click Clear Now
  5. Close all web pages, then reopen the web browser. If you want to reopen your previous webpages, do points 1 and 2 again then click on the Recently Closed tab, then click on the tabs you want to reopen.

Google Chrome

1. On your computer, open Chrome

2. At the top right, click More ().

3. Click More tools -> Clear browsing data...

4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

5. Next to 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files', tick the boxes.

You need to make sure that you close and re-open all tabs in Google Chrome after this, otherwise this solution won't work.
